My G35's oil consumption prob.
Its through nissan.. Nissan actualy WANTS to do the work, its the warranty company that keeps on looking for ways out.
Exact words of my service advisor: They want to run a compression test wet and dry. Then a complete engine tear down. Your warranty wants to see what exactly is causing the problem.
Seems like what the warranty wants to do is pin point the exact problem thats causing oil consumption and repair that issue. Its like they do not want to issue me the new block.
They want to figure out the problem? The oil consumption IS the problem. I want to throw the TSB in their face.
I am located in AZ. I know the dealer wants to do the work on the car because they'll be making lots of profits. Even if I did take it to another dealer I'd have to get it towed because I'm 20 miles away from having my warranty expire.
