Yea mine has rust but thats because it saw a couple winters....

Its unfortunate, but gotta do what you gotta do. I don't care near as much due to me not keeping the car forever and whoever buys it next will most likely drive it in the snow..

Savin the G

Wow..still getting feed back for whether or not to store the G. That's awesome...Yeah I my beater is actually my regular commuter car..I bought the G purely as my "Toy" ...I find lots of excuses now to hang out in the garage and just admire the thing...man...its addicting. Love this car.

I might sneak it out on a cold winters day only if the roads are bone dry.

Like someone said earlier, the G is not an exotic car and me personally I can't stand driving a dull, ugly, boring car. My G is my daily driver cause I also have a WS6 Trans Am with a built 383 with a blower thats my toy.

I bought my G as a DD and to retire my POS Pontiac Bonneville. I also bought an X mainly because of how much snow I get here at 5,000 ft. Luckly they don't really salt the roads like Ohio, where i grew up. Back there cars are rust buckets after five years.

I have wanted an AWD sports car since High School(it only took me 8 years!!) I wanted it so that i can take it up the mountains skiing and actualy drive something fun in the winter. I don't see the point of not using this car as a DD, yes it is the nicest car i have ever owned but it isnt a true exotic. I will winterize my baby and wash it as much as possible this winter, but i plan on driving the heck out of it.

Mods start this spring, after my $8,000 tax rebate. Thanks US Govt! I bought my G a garage and me a house with a smaller downpayment than i put down on my car(Thanks Utah for having a $4,000 grant for puchasing a new home!)

+1

My G35 is my beater. I bought it because it's a fun car to drive and not boring at all.

My 5.0L Mustang is my toy which is currently hibernating for the winter. That car hasn't seen rain in 7+ years
