Drive the Beater or Drive the G35 coupe

Hello all....Its only been 3 days since I got my 2004 G35 coupe (brembo with navi). I've got a winter beater and I'm already dreading hibernating the G for the winter.

I can't decide if I should pick up a set of winters for the G, or just drive the "reliable" beater as the commuter.

I feel its just a shame to have the beast in the garage. I guess Im just being a big kid and want to drive it now.

Your thoughts are all welcome.

Thanks

My answer depends on where you reside and will be driving. If you dont get snow, you'll be fine. If you do, i would drive the beater.

Where are you located???

If you drive the beater, it's like getting a new car every spring when you bring the G out.

I wish I still had two cars. I had a 92' Accord and got rid of it after I bought my G. I would drive the beater car for commuting and save the G for the weekends.

I would drive the beater if it is snowing badly. Drive G if it's not so stormy?

Wish I could be in the same boat as you..I don't even have a beater which if I did then the G would be garaged for the winter but instead I get to drive and ruin it her guess you could say since I just moved back to MI and it's a clean FL car Haha

I am from Toronto/ GTA /London Ontario.. Trust me and drive the beater you won't regret it.. Plus when you pull out the G it will feel like a brand new car..

Now I live in the desert lol, G35 24/7 unless you get oil consumption.

Thanks for the comments...I've decided to just use the beater and keep the G in the Garage till the spring.
