hks exhaust is nice..

if you want it to be louder and keep oem exhaust just straight pipe your exhaust.

or buy aftermarket system.. intake isn't going to make your car that much louder.

^^ I use a $20 muffler/resonator from Summit Racing starting under the seats in my Z and run pipe the rest of the way out. Sounds awesome and I get tons of compliments on it.

i have the hks hi-power cat-back with the stillen z-tube and hi-flow intake... its noticably louder, but not too loud when at idle... once you open it up though its a different story... it does have some drone, but only noticable when driving like a granny

Also get a plenum spacer, that'll give you some growl and power

^+1 to spacer if you just want some more growl and to keep oem sound. i'd say its important regardless of the exhaust you get.

If you want to keep the stock sound, but louder, get a used HR y-pipe off an 07-08 350z. If you have some extra money, buy Fast Intentions high flow cats. Those two parts keep the same exhaust tone, but make it louder and will give you some performance gains as well.

+1 on the motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer too.
