Time to downgrade... ideas?
This is an incredibly depressing post to write, but mainly because of cost concerns, I need to downgrade from my G. As a performance enthusiast, I wanted your advice on what I should go for that wouldn't leave me feeling too emasculated
I currently pay $350 a month for my G in car payments, and obviously the maintenance has its costs that are not insignificant. I want to pay significantly less, but still have a decent car. It doesn't need to be as fast or handle as well, but I wondered if you all think that there are other good values out there...
eg. Civic Si
RSX
Integra
VW GTi
Pontiac G6
Mazda 3
s2000
etc.
Any ideas on what would allow me to save a significant amount of money wouldn't be a HUGE disappointment?

Dont wanna come off as rude but....
$350 a month really isnt bad.
You should be looking at over all price vs monthly price, but if you can only afford so much a month....why not refinance the G for 48 months or more?
If its come down to you just plain out selling it.
I like the Civic SI myself

unless you are going to pay cash.. you might not have much financial gain by selling the G.. the resale values on G's are not that great.. so if you like the G that much.. i wouldn't "downgrade" to a car that you don't really like.. (for the sake of saving $$$)..
$350/month is not that much $$.. you might wanna re-budget, or reconsider the class of the car you are driving.. maybe a civic is a better match? those have leases at $150~
