Windows Roll Key Feature..

Hey there, i own a G35 Coupe 06 and recently found out that by holding the key in the door cylinder towards lock will make your windows roll up. Now here is the thing my driver side window wont do it. Keeping in mind my windows have no issues at all since they roll down with the Key Fob and roll up by the windows switch. Anybody has an idea of what could possibly be happening ?? Thanx in advance.DOMO

Not sure why your driver's window won't do it with the key. Mine does.

Will it roll down with the key? If not, a previous owner may have disconnected it trying to keep people from breaking in.

^ Good insight right there.

Or maybe it was broken when somebody broke into it that way?

Does it roll down with the key in the unlock position in the door?

Here's the thing. Mine does the same thing but I think the dealership said it may have to deal with timing or osmething.

The issue with my driver side window is that if it is FULLY down, if I just flick the switch for auto roll up or if I do the roll up via key in the door, it'll try to roll up for maybe 1/2 an inch then it'll roll back down as if there was something in the way.

Try rolling it down only partially and not all the way down, then roll it up using the key in the door and see if it still doesn't roll up.

Does the "one touch" feature work on the drivers window? It sounds like you need to relearn the anti pinch function. If the anti pinch system isn't programmed you won't be able to one touch or raise the windows with the key in the door.

If the wire was disconnected inside the door neither windows would go down. I actually recomend cutting that wire to prevent thiefs from exploiting that little security flaw.

The KPtechnologies (www.KPtechnologies.com) NM20 has been the standard for adding remote window up to Gs and Zs for the past 5 years!
