Raspy Exhaust

I have a modified Borla Muffler for a Camaro...Its set in same place as stock muffler..3 in. mid pip, no resonator...and just put on test pipes today. Its sounds great but getting on it 3k rpm and higher it gets a lil raspy. Any cure? thanks

I say stick with test pipes, but go with ART's.

Rasp will occur with test pipes regardless. You will have to add a resonator somewhere to help tone down the rasp. You best bet is to get the Motordyne XYZ with resonator to help with the rasp. Otherwise, get a resonator or pre-muffler put in place.

Are you still using your stock y-pipe? Since you now have test pipes, I'd bet the diameter of the test pipes and the y-pipe don't match.
