Nonrevup & Revup Lower Plenum

Hello,

I was wondering if the lower plenum for the revup and nonrevup were the same. I am trying to do a DIY port and polish very similar to the MREV and wanted to know if there were any differences between the two. Thanks.!

The DE plenum has long runners on the lower intake, the Revup has shorter intake runners. The longer runners produce more low/mid range torque, but the shorter runners on the Revup have less restriction and allow a larger volume of air which produces more top end power (and sacrifices some of that low end grunt in the process). The MREV2 plenum is based on the DE with the longer runners.

DE on the left, Revup on the right:

Is it worth buying the REVUP and Motordyne spacer or just "pay to play" and buy the Kinetix???

MREV2 style manifold with a plenum spacer is your best option for most people.

Maybe a little, its almost the same as your current plenum but with slightly bigger openings.
