You can hit it with a heat gun and that should smooth it out but once you get it on it will smooth right out. I wouldn't worry too much about it but send Andy an e-mail and see what he recommends.

Hi guys . Yes, the overlays are oversized and u should be fine. Applying heat when installing should flatten out areas that u may be concerned about . My installers use this method and works very well. Many of you who know and or have dealt with me, know I have an excellent reputation for customer service, and I stand behind my work!

The vinyl is a bit tough to work with if its your first install, I definitely recommend using BlueBat certified installers for larger jobs if you want to minimize imperfections. As for the edges; almost every overlay is trimmed or tucked away when installed properly.

I'm actually one of Bluebat's authorized installers, and that's the first time i've seen a package damaged like that. I think that may have been from the shipping company. But as long as you don't let water get on it while its still on the backing, you will be able to smooth everything out and it will look flawless. Here are some pics of some cars I've done and the key is in the install. If you are patient and use the proper amount of heat to wetness, it will come out looking flawless

As for the company usps i believe I dont think it can be their fault, it was sent in a nice thick cylinder. The package wasn't damaged and I dont see how they couldn't have damaged it.

I only two places i can see where it was damaged was either when it left the shop, or the actually packager did it.

I will listen to what you guys said, and install it, and Im sure it will be fine.

Does anyone know who andys bay area installer is? I have been texting him who, but he never got back to me?

I don't know of anyone in the Bay area. There is another Overlay thread on the forum that has some contact info in it for different installers in the areas.

I understand there were some on that thread but I want to use Andys specific installer,

As he has one for SD he said he has one for the bay, If I decide to have someone do it, I want it to be his specific guy.
