Can't Decide

Ok, so I am going off to college after this year. I can't decide if I should keep the g or sell it for an evo that I could drive in the winters back here in Kansas. I am also afriad of my car getting beat up at college (scratches/dents) because right now I park next to two friends who also care about their cars. I have 10k saved up and will make another 8-10k next summer. I really dont wanna spend over 20k but if I want the evo x, i'd have to.

Not sure what you should do but one thing I have heard is that the Evo X requires a ton of maintenance (compared to similar cars and G's) so you may need to be prepared for that. My source = Top Gear so take it for what its worth, lol.
What G do you have?

Evo's are money hungry ******....maintenance like someone said is a bitch. Two of the guys at my last command had them. One loved his minus the upkeep which didnt bother him since he made money. The other one had to sell his because he couldnt afford to keep replacing parts.

if u need the AWD "safety" get a G35x although i dont see why, up here in WA when we get the snow and ice and crap just smart driving and winter tires do just fine

but a G35x will be better than an evo in the long run.

If you're going the 4-banger AWD route, I'd get an STi or even WRX over Evo any day... IMO performs a lot better and more stout and reliable.

I have an 04 dg coupe with tsw's (and stock painted black) with pop charger, ztube, and test pipes. I also did the cheap thermal tape around the z-tube and intake lol. plus mp3 jack. it's got 52k and a tint. I just dont know if I like the look of the sti's as much as the evo. And how much would maintaining an evo cost vs an sti? And goin to Florida Gulf Coast, just lookin for awd for winter break. Also lookin for something faster than the g.
