^Mike if you really want one I can get you a great deal on one. My yellow top had issues that I'm having covered under warranty. I already bought a replacement yellow top because I didn't want the down time, but still need to take my old one in for testing and evaluation. I expect that I'll get a new yellow top as a replacement.

these batteries are good but if you drain them down, they'll never hold a charge....the only downfall i've had using 2 redtops.....

Thats your opinion I think optima are the best batteries other than the oem from the dealer I left my interior lights on one night for the whole night plus my hids on came back out battery was low but after a couple cranks she started with another battery that story would be different

Maybe you should ask your friend did he ever get the car jumped because optima batteries are dry cell batteries if the die they can only be trickle charged but they rarely ever die unless something else is wrong with car

Optima batteries come with 3 yr warranty over how many years did he go through those 3 batteries

HAHA, I can't believe you NOOBS getting your panties in a wad over opinions on battery's.... Optima batterys are the "IN" battery to use, in reality it's what ever works for you. My OE battery took a dump when I was at my buddys shop changing my oil, all he carries is DELCO so guess what I'm using.

IDK if you all are from so cal but i am from jersey and we have auto zones here and they will do a free system check on your battery and alternator and that should tell you what you can do from there??? im not bashing anything on so cal or anything like this just not too sure if they exist out there

Noobs, that's pretty funny. You're right a lot of people jump on the band wagon of what's the in thing right now from car parts to electing presidents. I personally chose the optima red top because it's a stronger battery, withstands extreme temparetures better and lasts a whole lot longer than conventional batteries.
It all comes down to what you want, one should always do their research based on facts and test results when it comes to your ride. We mod our cars to our individual tastes and needs, I offer my opinions strictly as that. Make your own decisions and enjoy the ride.
