Why don't some care for their cars?
Being OB,I see every speck of dust,light scratch,dead bug..you get it.
Now,I got the car for a DD because my drive to work is an hour or so and wanted some comfort and also felt like giving myself a bitchin birthday present.
I get much more enjoyment than I ever anticipated with it,so I am very protective of it.
I don't have a garage and working 2nd shift means lotsa dead bugs and the long drive usually means I will encounter dust and road grime.
So this means it gets washed often,sometimes twice in one day. Yeah if it gets $h1t on by a bird,it gets cleaned.
Rock chips...don't even get me started...Fish

The bar we go to after work on Fridays has a covered porch in front with picnic tables we sit on...so I park directly in front so I can stare at it.
I hate to see rain,but last time we were there during a storm I couldn't stop watching the water run down the hood and either waterfall down the grill or shoot down the fender crease..call me a freak but I thought that sh*t was sexy!
