08 G35x to G37x sedan? Advantages? Cons?
So, I have the ability to get out of my 08 G35x.
I am considering going to a G37x sedan.
Preferrably pre-owned, but possibly new.
I would also conidering buying another 07-08 G35x if the price made passing on the G37x worth it.
What are the improvements of the G37x over the 2008 G35x sedan?
Real world benefits of these improvements?
Advantages of making the move?
My biggest complaint with my 08 G35x is:
1. POOR MILEAGE (15mph average after 36,000 miles)
2. Automatic transmission hangs up between shifts, seems to get "confused", and is a general dissapointment.
3. Rear seats don't 60/40 fold flat (snowboards)
The brakes were a MAJOR issues with premature wear and warping rotors.
But, they were fixed under recall with what the dealer claimed was "resedigned" brake parts and SEEM to be improved.
If #1-#3 were addressed, I think the AWD G sedan could possible be the best daily driver for us here in the Northeast.

From what I've read, problem #1 probably won't change significantly in any G.
No offense, but it sounds like neither a G nor any of its direct competitors is what you're looking for. Maybe a Subaru Impreza wagon? Or if you're ok with an older car, a Saab 9-2 is an Impreza loaded up with all the luxurious crap that makes us so infatuated with our G's.
