Moving on from the G??

It might have 30 more hp but it's also slower than the 335 due to the fact BMW underrated their engines. The G37 also has less torque. The 335 is also better balanced, has a better clutch engagement point, more precise and communicative steering, brakes better despite having a lot smaller brakes, handles better despite not having a fake LSD, doesn't have front brake shudder, doesn't have bubbles in the seats, doesn't have a peeling dash, doesn't have rattling exhausts, doesn't have valve train chatter....I can continue if you'd like? And manning up and getting an AMG? Modern day yuppies buy those things, I see more of those around than base models. Give me a break. Man up and get a bike if you want to go fast and get your adrenaline going.

I said AMGs are for yuppies :-) I would definitely rock a 2010 E coupe. And I don't read Car and Driver, I came to those conclusions after doing an HPDE in a stock 335i and after having my G37 for over 2 years. I love my car, but like someone said earlier, you can tell where the premium price comes from.

I tuely do not understand why so much interest in the 335i. I can only assume that you just want to say "oh yea I own a BMW". The new G37 has 30 more hp that the 335. Now if you guys really want to man up go Mercedes AMG. Let's start with the C63 AMG. About the same size as the 335i but with a whopping 451 hp. One step up and you get the E63 AMG 518 hp. I own a 2010 benz E-class coupe and can confirm that it is a great car. Unfortunatly it's my wifes car so no AMG. The Benz AMGs are far better cars than the BMWs. You'll pay more but you will get more for your $$$$$.
I love my 2003 G35 sedan to death, but I'm thinking of moving onto something European in this class, since all the European competitors have tow ratings, and I need something that can tow my track car to the track
(Audi A4, BMW 3 series can to 3500lb, Infiniti, 0 lb )

Yup, having driven a G37 coupe and 335i back to back, the mid-range was incredible in the BMW. That turbo does wonders at low RPM. Infiniti, BMW, Audi, all play a game of leapfrog. When I bought my G in 2003, Infiniti was clearly on top. BMW is king of the hill right now, in my opinion.
