Recent consumer reports study once again shows BMW, Mercedes and Audi as the least reliable vehicles of ALL automakers world wide. Infiniti ranks 5th. My 06 6MT has never been in the shop, doesn't eat up tires and brakes and has no oil consumption issues. I can live with the creaking sunroof.

Of course it's been in for oil changes, but other than that, nothing. They didn't give a specific ranking for BMW, they just said those three I mentioned ranked last of all automakers in reliability. If you research CR you'll probably find the same thing.

While European reliability had been improving, momentum seems to have stalled. All Porsche and Volvo models are rated average or better. But Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz are among the worst automakers overall.
