When is a new clockspring neccessary?

When you remove your spiral cable aka clock spring flip it over and there is a black sensor which is your steering angle sensor on the back with i think 3 screws holding it on. The new clock spring does not come with this already installed and you will need to remove this and install on your new clock spring. Once installed your steering angle sensor adjustment will need to be reset with a consult or solus scanner or you will have random vdc and slip lights when younturn steering wheel

That is great information- I am thinking of changing mine soon, seems like I'll have to get the dealer to do half of it...I wish you would post more on this forum because you work on Infinitis everyday
