I got some pictures and a video. We're going to make a little introductory video and slideshow. I also drove it down the road. Very nice ride.

^ Just throw in a 2JZ into the G35. It will probably cost just as much if not cheaper.

Mustang is a beast, but I just can't imagine owning a Ford. I sat inside a Ford Fusion and the interior was horrible. Everything in the car was super hard plastic. Buttons clicked and felt weird. The transmission would click/snap into gear. It looks like the materials used were once part of a hospital building.

I know the Fusion isn't a Mustang, but the 2010 Fusion interior makes my 2003 MITSUBISHI evo interior feel like a Mercedes. Even my 2000 Honda Accord beater is better. I'm just assuming here, but I don't think the Mustang interior is made all that differently.

everything
Just got back from the dealership from picking my car up for an OC motor replacement. They had an IPL in the showroom. Definitely looks 1000x better in person, pictures never do any car justice. I had the sales guy start it up, very nice growl to it just idling. But $50k+ is way overprice IMO. Nice car nonetheless.. but needs to be slammed... looked like it had more ground clearance than the QX56

Eh, that's what the performance parts division is all about. I'll sell lowering springs....keeps my job relevant.

It's funny to me that the IPL has a divorced dual exhaust like mine. I guess Nismo/IPL doesn't believe in the x pipe or H pipe bull****.

It's a G37 with a little bit extra power!

Yeah...I'm a bit confused. It looks just like a normal G37 and the increase in power is not exactly mind blowing. Sounds like we are going down the same horrible road BMW and Porsche have gone. Having you driving around in a really expensive car and nobody except enthusiasts being able to tell. Think Boxter versus GT3.

I mean, I buy a car for nobody else but for myself and I don't need a car to make a statement for me, BUT if I spend a lot of money on a car my expectations go way up. One such expectation is to not have people confuse my car with another that is thousands less. I guess the reality is that this already happens in a way. You could spend $35,000 on a newer G and then have somebody go "Oh my 18 year old college student kid has one of these!". Of course the 18 year old bought a 2003 model, but to novice eyes...a G is a G. Car has to look the part for me.

cool car, doesn't blow my mind though......

I just noticed, you said you took the pictures/video after the owner already left with the car, then came back? Why is the dealer sticker still on the car?

Because he didn't "officially" take delivery of it.
lol, all I know is that it was gone and then it was back....and it's getting ready to be put on a transport truck because this guy lives like 500 miles away.

Btw, it looks so much better in person. I wasn't blown away by the pictures, but I think it's awesome now that I can see it.

it looks nice and is a great car, but i think it is geared towards the stock crowd

if you are going to be modding there isnt really a reason to fork over the extra cash for increases you will be getting with your own mods
