If you could

What's up everyone! I'm in the Market for a rwd coupe with a some sort of back seat and the g35 came to mind. I read numerous posts on here about tech problems and maintenance and everything else on this forum. With everything being said and done if you could do it all over again would you still buy your g35 or would you put your money else where?

Buy it again!

Remember most people come on here when they have issues so forums can be very biased. You will see all the bad which is good, but puts a negative light on the car.

In the past i was all for Acura and nothing else. I had a 89 Legend and moved to a 92 vigor for those 10yrs. The next car after that i was looking at the TL type S. Then i started reading consumer guild and saw the "08" Infiniti G35. Test drove that in the TL and absolutely love the G. I don't know what the future will hold but so far i am going to stick to the Infiniti/Nissan brand since they have been improving the most out of all the rest of the cars.

Would Definitely Buy Again!!
For the money/styling there's nothing out there comparable IMO.
Some people find the 6MT is a little tricky but soooo worth it

I've had mine for nearly a year now, and I would do it again. Very happy so far

And you will see a lot of times, like posted above, people with issues will take the time to sign up and vent (or look for help). But the average Joe without problems won't even bother posting.

No question about it, love my car. like others have said. No matter WHAT CAR you buy there will be issues of all kinds and many people will have the same issues. its just part of engineering from any company.

I would do it again! No questions or second thoughts. As someone else said, you are always going to hear more about the problems, than the people who are enjoying their car.

The G35 offered everything I wanted in a car (the backseats were a MAJOR plus for me)

You really shouldn't pay much attention to all the negative remarks some of our members post. About 20% are between 16 and 18 years old and this is their very first ride, consider the source. Apparently they don't have Dad's that are interested in showing/teaching them what they need to know about driving a car and it's maintenance.... quite possibly they don't know either.

I think the 16-18 year old should get the new G25. I think it's just too much power for them to be driving a 35/37 around.

definately buy again. this is my first luxury ride. the standard maintenance is a b1tch (price) but well worth it compared 2 when **** breaks and needs replacement. only issue I had are ones i created (windshield crack and light replacement). i get full synthetic oil change which is 3x time the price of regular oil change but I went 10k on that change. alot more car washes and cleaning now than compared to before just cause u cant have this ride lookin dusty (why buy it??). gonna go over 100k this winter and thats when u find out about problems so by march/april i should def know alot more about the reliability of this car. bottom line is, best in class HP. drive the A4, A6, TL, 3 series, Lex IS, CTS or whatever...then drive the G35. u'll see (feel) the difference. and listen 2 how that **** sounds. its cool as fukc!!
