I cant imagine why my boosted G wont go anywhere.

Can any of you guys tell me at which point in the RPM range the turbo begins to spool? I thought it didn't engage until 2500-3000 rpm. If you're driving on snow, and you're driving a boosted G, and your turbo is spooling, then you're driving wrong for the situation. You want to learn to feather the accelerator, and really don't need to go past 3000 rpm. For braking on ice or snow, if your ABS engages, then you're braking wrong, you want to apply as much force but not enough to engage abs. Basically you will need to have your grandma teach you how she drives, so you drive like your grandma on snow.

OMFG...this has made my day! This is some funny stuff!
Hey Brazil...If you havent read up, a RWD with proper winter tires will out preform a AWD with all seasons in all forms of grip (acceleration, braking and most importantly, cornering). Car and driver has covered this several times and even have combined their efforts with Tirerack.com to further their research.
And yes, this is a sarcastic thread, and no, I will not change the title.
A newb will wont read the entire post, just as you are proving with your comments.
And a Newb would claim to have greater skills than the 100,000 members in this forum. Remember, the best of anything in the world are the last to say so.
and finally, a newb gets offended when others disagree or dares to be sarcastic, funny or a smarta$$.
Clearly, I am calling Newb Status to the guy who has almost been on here a year and has a whopping 57 massive post on here.
(did you see what I did, I used your prior threads information...added in my supreme knowledge of 5 years of reading and 3200+ post and combined it with a smart a$$ thread to trap newbs to comment in here and make themselves look like a newb)
Hook, line and sinker.

I have given up my life...for you. I have served 16 years so far both in combat in Iraq and in peace in over 11 foreign countries for this great nation you are calling home...
I gave up my nights and weekend life so that I can prepare to educate the minds of my students for the last 12 years...
I gave my L1 vertebre as it was crushed protecting my son for a 300lb falling object.
You are right. I have no life and guess what. I am proud of it.
But at least I can read a thread properly and not speak with arrogance with nothing to show or prove it. So if that means the other 99,999 members on this forum other than you have no life, I am proud to call myself a no lifer G35 driver president of a car club that is 5 states large with over 100 members.

Interesting. I used to be on ChicagoZ very frequently, not as much within the past year. If you're in the Chicagoland area- let me know. PMed

Im not complaining...I am making fun of you. In true newb sense, you missed that and needed it pointed out to you.
Maybe you are wanting something more? You keep checking back trying to be fancy with your wit and hoping to 1 up each of us...what is it you really want? Maybe you should make a thread about it and we can help you out?
whew...my service is never done. So lets get back to the real story.
My G is only 4.5" off the ground, could that be the reason why my G wont go anywhere in the 2" drift I am stuck in?
My G sucks in the snow. For some reason, because the windows are closed, my exhaust is quieter. Is there a fix for that?
Infiniti did a poor design on our Gs. It snowed last night and now my lights are inop. Why didnt Infinity design our headlights with a wiper built in? Does anyone have a link (too lazy to search) for Headlight wiper kits? I check my local speed shop (Pep Boys) and came up with nothing as the Guy in the civic bought the last kit. help?
