Stock G's UpRev'd?
I cant imagine a stock G would benefit much from Osiris, our cars already come pretty well tuned from the factory. Waste of money IMO since you'd have to pay for a retune if you ever modded the car.
If you want to tune your car just get cold air intakes and a exhaust then tune. At least you'll get that much of a gain and just call it a day. That way you'll be tuning your car to something rather then stock.
As for a tune, I believe there is some power to be gained but, maximizing the potential of the tune isn't what your gonna get. This is why we recommend obtaining all performance mods before a tune.
My A/F ratio was dangerously lean at WOT before the tune. Thank god I got it tuned.
Well, in Cali, i was going to stay away from headers and HFC/test pipes because i don't want to take it off the car every time i go in for a smog. And they don't make that spacer for the 2nd gen or i would have gotten it by now.
This is where I get confused... there are quite a few tunes for our VQs out there.. but I watch Powerblock on SpikeTV every weekend and they use those Hypertech programmers so on and so forth.. and yet have I heard someone on this forum use Hypertech or another programmer/tuner product other then Osiris/Uprev...
Why is this? Or am I just stupid... *shrugs*

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

I couldn't find a price for the Hypertech but if it's over $200 is probably isn't worth 9HP and 9lb/ft gains.

I was just wondering if anyone got tuned and had a stock car because they didn't want to modify the exhaust or what not, to see what gains they got. I know it's better to get this and that b4 tuned so that u don't waste money and have to get it re-tuned as stated b4. I have seen an M45 bone stock gain 20/20 with Orsiris on a dyno dynamics and was wondering if it would be worth it for a stock M35 too and figured since you G's have the same motor this would be the best spot for this question. Doesnt seem like anyone has done it though since most people hook up G's.
I had a tune when my car was stock. If it gained anything I certainly couldn't tell. Even after mods and retun there was not really any seat of the pants difference. But at least I know my air/fuel ratios are in check now.
