"I never plan on modding the car"
All I has is tint and JDM bat. cover. Simple & Clean.
But seriously, I would be embarrassed to be seen driving some of the modded cars I've seen.. I is cool with blue neons and black out tails. LOL
I've had my car stock for nearly 6 years without a single mod, then I got into a fender bender that required me get a bumper. Couldn't find an OEM one at the right price so started looking in the marketplace and got a Nismo poly then added a spacer to that list then an exhaust, then, well you guys know how the story goes.
Now I have a fully built high compression bored and stroked NA block on top of the other countless mods... but the worst thing is that I barely drive it now... what am I doing!

Mod Bug Confessions....=oP
I've never owned a car that I haven't modified but my down fall was winning a trophy with nothing more than an exhaust system and a set of Volks wheels. Then I started noticing what was possible by checking out other members rides, Oh **** I'd been severely bitten....damn bug!

I always said that I'd just do a drop, wheels, and a body kit.
Then I started hanging out with Strictly G's... and then came a hood, double din, a custom built system, black headliner, Chargespeed rear, and now brembos.
I hate this car. I hate this forum. But most importantly, I hate Fab and Dustin.

i started moding cars in the 90's before internet forums even existed. It was way ****ing harder to get info back then. You guys all have it easy now with online forums and awesome members who help you out. I had to learn to do stuff by going in blind alot of times, but it really taught me how cars work.
I have modded every single car since then (except my wife's tahoe) to make them my own and set them apart. it is just who i am at this point and i don't think it will ever be any different.
Although, the feeling of seeing your car lowered for the first time, or the first time you hear an exhaust is unlike anything else. Every mod since then is just an attempt to capture that feeling.

When I first got my Sedan (my third car) it was the first car I had that was "worthy" of being modded. I only planned on doing clear corners, OEM front lip and OEM 19s. Then I added a front BBK, sways, MD spacer, HKS muffler and an intake to that list. I started going to the RareJDM monthly meet and a local friend convinced me to do a mild drop on springs and at the same time I started hanging out with Viet, Randy, Marty, Sean, Zack, Chris etc. and drooling over their engine bays. Game over from there...
