I just read through this entire thread, and i feel like a recovering alcoholic at an AA meeting haha. Love this site, hate not having money, indifferent about other peoples opinions. Mod on people.

Just like alcoholism is a disease, you are afflicted with moditis extremus. Unfortunately unlike an alcoholic, your only support groups encourage you to feed your addiction instead of fighting it. Originally Posted by andyrooroo89

I speak the truth as I suffer from both conditions and have beat the booze for more than 3 years, but just can't shake the mod thing. Main difference is I don't want to!!

Find a wife? I am getting married this month and me and my fiancee just bought our G a few weeks back. Originally these were my words to her, "This is such an amazing car just stock, it needs noting." Originally Posted by V3LAS_G

A few weeks after driving it around and reading different threads....I am compiling a spreadsheet of what I want/need and when I plan to buy it. As you can imagine, the fiancee is like WTF? you just said this car is amazing when stock...my reply..."But there are a *few* things that I still want to do to make it look a bit better" She really has no idea what she bargained for!!

you might cheapen out on getting a premier membership, but this forum will get you back by getting you addicted to the mod bug and suck all your hard earned $! on another note, i am so grateful i found this site. the amount of information i have found here, and all that i have learned about my car, i don't think that would have been possible if this site didn't spark my interest in modding my car. thx to all the wonderful folks who make up this great community for inspiring me to mod my car. i can honestly say that the most i would have done is get a set of wheels and tint my windows. my only advice to new modders would be: do your research and know your options, mod for yourself and not others and be patient and do it at your own pace, and please dont bite other people's style
