Cool "I never plan on modding the car"

So how many of you said those words when you bought your G?

When I first bought my coupe two years ago (my first car), the thought of modding it never crossed my mind. At that time, I thought the G was perfect, sexy looks, sexy stock exhaust tone, nice leather interior, nice stereo (Bose), quick. Honestly, I didn't even know people modded G35's, lol.

Then I got involved in this forum and started attending local meets, and it all went downhill from there, haha. Now my car is far from stock.

Who's with me?

Yup I felt the same exact way 2 years ago when I first bought my G. Never thought about modding it. Never thought I part out either but lol it gets old and you just want something more new.

Me too lol. Mod it, part it and then sell it all in one year.

When I first got my Sedan (my third car) it was the first car I had that was "worthy" of being modded. I only planned on doing clear corners, OEM front lip and OEM 19s. Then I added a front BBK, sways, MD spacer, HKS muffler and an intake to that list. I started going to the RareJDM monthly meet and a local friend convinced me to do a mild drop on springs and at the same time I started hanging out with Viet, Randy, Marty, Sean, Zack, Chris etc. and drooling over their engine bays. Game over from there...

I initially wanted a 350z to mod rofl. Then found my G35 at the Infiniti down the street, and just immediately fell in love and didn't even care if it could be modded or not haha.

It was the opposite for me. I planned to play around with it day 1 I got it. Although not having any spare $$$$ to do so means I haven't done anything major.

I believe no car comes the way it should from the factory. They just dont do it right, in my opinion. All cars, well except for exotics, arent low enough imo. Even if I bought a Ferrari, Id mod it. There would be a thing or two that they didnt right for me.

Its making the car how it should be in my eyes.

No hating, but some people do **** on this site that I dont approve of, but again, its not my style, its theirs and its their way they think the car should be.

If that makes sense.
