This is a good find for the price. I was running the Greddy Informeter which does less than what this device can do. The big difference was the Informeter is/was $299.
I had it installed above the A/C vent that is on the left of the cluster. I ran the wiring down the door frame rubber gasket thing over to the OBD port and you couldn't see any wires when the door was closed. The Greddy had some cool functions too but still the Ultra looks a little more comprehensive.
I sold the Greddy Informeter for school $$$ recently and have been missing all the cool data on my dash.
Thanks for finding this, gonna pick one up!

Well its no laptop that can tell you when your manifold is danger but very worth the price, looks good, compact and gives some good info that could save a trip to the tuner. You can get fuel trims O2 readings, read and clear codes and even get pending codes before the trigger the MIL. The speed can be adjusted to for tire changes or factory pm inaccuracy.

The Ultra gauge has more menu options and can display more info at once.

I had the Scangauge II and I just didn't like it.

I received mine today installing is easy.

Now to find a place to install it permanently.

It is kind amusing the things that is in there. I know I do not need it but it made me smile looking at the digital numbers changing and for an obii scanner its a good price.

I am a wannabe g35 that does not even have any FI of any sort with digital gauges for engine temp. air temp. sensor..etc etc.. LOL

Not so great for speed accuracy or if you need up to use this for up to the millisecond RPM gauge.

Over all I say its a solid piece of equipment.

You must force protocol 9141 or you may have issues as others have pointed out.
How do you force protocol 9141 ??
