Lowered G35 making a hallowing noise on LOW rpms.
Test drove a lowered g35 yesterday and during really low rpms in made a moderate hallowing noise. No feel was associated with the noise so its hard to explain. Had nothing to do with the brakes i dont believe.
Anyone had or know of the problem? Absolutely feel in love with the car but passed until i can figure out the issue.
Any help would be great

Bad....bluebird lmao Welcome to DRIVER! If I had the noise you're describing I'd get my G up on a rack, start her up and figure where the sound is coming from. Or maybe you won't need to fire her up....

good luck with buying! lmao, i think i may know what you are tokking about. was it the whole time you are driving or just for like 1 minute or less? also were you just coasting when you heard it?
also please explain this "hallowing" noise? was it like a faint groan type noise, or what?

Kind of like a groan type noise @ very low RPMs but not when braking. What are you thinking?
i have the exact same thing on a stock suspension 2007 G35x (itll do it like once a day when im coasting/i rarely notice it anymore i got used to it), and i think it is the brakes, because it just seems like the smooth sound brakes would make if rubbing against something...lmao, sorry i cant be more help, Im interested to see if anybody else had this noise. what year and model was it?
also if you test drive again, make sure the brakes feel excellently smooth under moderate braking downhill...im not sure if this is related in any way to the groaning, but mine also has an uneven feel when braking downhill for some reason...
i do plan to change the rotors in a few months and see if theres a difference but by then im sure your prospective car will be sold lol
