Got me thinking the other day, does the G35 coupe have the best sounding exhaust out of all its brothers/sisters? (in the G family)

The g37 has a similar tone as ours but it seems much quieter and on the feminine side. I heard the g37 IPL exhaust for the first time the other day when some kid was driving it around town and flooring it. All I heard was engine (he was on 1st gear hitting the 5-6k rpm). My cousin's TL stock exhaust sounds better. The sedan has a nearly non existent exhaust tone.

Shame how with each production Infiniti puts out it gets weaker and weaker. anyone agree?

 

Sounds like you've answered your own question Mark. The sedans and later models just have a more civilized exhaust than the first gen coupes have. They're stronger and faster but don't make a lot of noise making us look bad!

I think our exhaust sounds better then the TL. i just love the way it sounds.

 

i think our exhaust sounds amazing.. prob my favorite v6 sounding stock exhaust. of course it can't compare to some v8s.. but for a stock v6.. it sounds nice. i always smile when i start my car in my garage when it hasn't been driven for a few days.. the exhaust rumbles and has a nice deep sound to it

 

Yeah I guess there's no point to the thread lol. Just something I noticed. As the G series gets upgraded more and more, it loses that exhaust that every other car owner wanted their car to sound like back in the days.

It honestly makes my day hearing a cold start. If theres a reason to wake up in the morning, its to turn on your G!

G35 coupe/350Z is the sexiest V6 stock sound on the planet. It turns my head every time I hear one!

 

How many times have you heard an fx35 and turned to look for a coupe or a z? Lol I have a few times

 

i think the fx35 has the best sounding stock exhaust for our motors

 

To answer your question, I personally think the 350Z, G35 Coupe, and FX35 have the sexiest stock exhaust tone. You can't beat them.

 

One of the best v6 exhaust notes but I think much more expensive exotics sound better..
