The most gas Ive ever pumped into my G

Junk in fuel can be bad, but mostly what will happen is if your filter isn't catching the junk, your injectors will be clogged and have to be cleaned, unless it's REALLY bad. It shouldn't be REALLY bad because the fuel in the tank is constantly sloshing around which kind of stirs up the tank so whatever junk is in the tank is getting sucked in anyway, but filtered out.
However, I'd be more worried about burning out the fuel pump. In order for to it stay cool, there needs to be a constant supply of liquid. When you're running on fumes, you're making your pump work harder and run hotter. When you're in motion, what's left of your fuel is sloshing around and it's completely depriving the pump of any liquid. Keep doing that and your fuel pump is going to prematurely fail. That's a pretty costly repair bill.

Gas is ridiculus up there, I just spent a month up there and had to cough up almost $500 for gas. Its quite nice up there lol, but the gas is just nuts

Yeah. I see a thread now and again about U.S. folks complaining about high gas prices. Then I take a look and think "High? I wish that's what gas cost here..".

Yeah, you get a lot of crud sucked in from the bottom. No thanks =D

Every other cars I've owned have the filter sitting on the firewall.

The most I've had to fill was only 64.31 litres or 16.99 gallons. The price of gas at the time was $1.446 per litre ($5.474/gallon) so that fill-up cost $93 CND. The very next day the price of gas in the GTA went down $0.07/litre.

The fuel level goes down when the cars parked on an uphill and the fuel level goes up when its parked on a downhill.

Hahah I know right? I changed the fuel filters out from my parents' cars for their 100k and I was curious to see what mine looked like after 20k.. I was scratching my head over this when I read it in the manual... smh. WTF were they thinking when they make us remove our rear seats to access them. And then you get the smell of gas all in the car and it could drip somewhere.
