Should I do this swap?? RSX owner here

Hi guys long time RSX lurker here.
I went to the Honda dealer today just to see what they had and saw a 2005 G35 Auto with about 58K miles for $16,000. My car is a RSX Base Auto 2006 with 98K miles. At first they wanted my trade-in for only $6,000 so I kept haggling with them and see what else I could get. To make a long story short, I was about to walk out and the manager was like "Okay you wanna do an even swap?" I was not expecting that at all so I said I'll be back tomorrow because I don't wanna do something I might regret and if the car turns out to be a lemon or something.

Checked Carfax with no accidents. It was a lease vehicle with 3 owners.

Should I go for it? I wasn't expecting to buy anything, been a long time fan of the G and this deal to swap was so random.

Crazy that they jumped from 6k to 16k on your car. Doesn't sound right to me but now I will check some #'s.

Well from the vague info that I got, the G's KBB is 17,700 excellent condition. Coupe?
and the RSX is 11k in excellent condition.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Have the car checked by an independent mechanic and if it looks good, I'd do the swap in a heartbeat.

thats an awesome deal man do it. But let me warn you. Do you REALLY not mind an Auto? not saying anything theres wrong with it but many owners that got an Auto regret it and want the 6MT. Also get it check by a mechanic because for sure because 3 owners from lease? Thats kind of a lot. I had a friend that had a leased car and lets he was not kind to the car LOL.

but if you dont mind the auto, mechanics make sure its not a lemon, and everything else checks out DO THE DEAL for sure! you are getting a car with less mileage than ur current one for no money ontop. thats crazy lol they must need business

Here are a few pics of my car. owned for 5 years now. Bought for $15,000. One major accident over $15K damage...other guy's insurance paid.

Has CAI, Greddy Exhaust, Tein coils, HID...I thought dealers hate these stuff?

Also has this rubbing everytime I make a hard left.

Trade-in Value(good condition): $8,304
Private Party(good condition): $10,220

Here's the G35: I don't care about automatic or not...but is it more trouble down the road or something? I want my wife to drive it too
It's a Certified Honda dealer so I don't know what it is they see in the RSX to offer me this, maybe easier to sell than the G?

yeah that's what I'm afraid of. I originally was looking for a white '06+. If I take this deal, I don't have to worry about financing. I would be jumping down from 98K miles to 58K

Even trade seems almost too good to be true, but if the G is legit then I would def do it. The only downgrade in my opinion is the disparity in fuel economy

Even my math trained brain isn't needed for this one....

They want to give you a VALUE of $16k for a $10k max car? A few questions...

1. If they give you a TRUE value of $16k for your car (another ca worth $16k), how the hell are they going to sell your car for $16 to get their money out of it?

2. Since your car IS NOT worth $16k, and more like $10-11, then an even trade states the G can't be worth more than that. A 2005 auto with low miles for $11? Something wrong there.

3. How old are you? Are they preying on the young and easily pressured? btw, best move you did was walking away to think about it. Bring an older adult with you next time you go, it'll put the dealer on a more cautious footing usually.
