On an objective power side, if a guy upgrades or blows out a clutch after deciding to go for more power then it's what? 1500-2k? (Seriously, don't know but I know it's a lot less than replacing an AT trans.)

There are maybe three types of people who buy the G35- because it looks sharp / classy and performs reasonably compared to what MOST are used to... People who want that classy look and plan on going for bigger numbers (FI is the only option for that) for whatever reason they're choosing... and people who will likely transition from the first to the second.

Do you enjoy driving a manual? If yes, get a 6MT.

Since the OP's original question was about maintenance, and there's not a huge difference either way, that's really the only question to ask. People can argue for days on the virtues of MT over AT or vice versa, but it really just comes down to driving preference.

A bunch of guys at work just came into my office and asked what all the commotion was about. They said it sounded like I was either laughing hysterically or getting beaten to death-

Everyone needs a good laugh.

That auto-innovatio paddle shifter kit would be dope but feel the quality isn't as clean as OEM paddle shifters from the G37S 7AT. A-I's techs should develop a pair that fits the 05-07 w/ power steering coloum...

I'd rather deal with commuting 5000 miles to and from work each day than deal with NYC traffic. . Toronto has been voted the worst for traffic but seriously, compared to NY, it's free sailing...

I want to learn how to drive a MT.
I want to get a AT g35 first then get a MT car.

What's a good cheap MT car to practice with?
