on/off/on/off ses

2004 G35 stock (sedan)
Corrected code 0134 bank 1 o2 sensor. Was one of 2 when I bought car. Clear now for over 200 k (125 miles). No occurrence. Had p0455 as well when bought. Evap code0455. Did all the gas cap crap (I swear I used 3000 grit on the gas cap, cleaned off the filler tube, and silicone (sprayed, not actual silicone) I was good for 80 miles. Thought I was good. Last week the p0455 reared it's ugly head. Resigned myself to replacing the evap mod valve in the evap can. As usual, ses was on when I left work today. Same OBD2 code. Drove 10 miles, turned off car to buy some veggies at Safeway, came back out and the code ses was gone. It would seem to me that if it was a "MAJOR leak, issue, that this warning should be full time and not part time or Infiniti would be responsible.
Pretty sure that in the morning that I will once again have the infamous P0455 code or nothing until a few miles down the road.
Thoughts??????
