catback exhaust confusion

catback exhaust confusion

I am looking in buying a topspeed pro1 exhaust. The exhaust has 3inch piping. Will this bolt and fit right to my stock y pipe? or do i need to replace it? please help!!!

Yes it should bolt right up. The flanges still bolt together fine but the piping is different sizes.

Stop the confisusion!

FYI if this Top Speed exhaust system bolts to your y-pipe it's not a "Cat-Back" system, they bolt to your cats which eliminates your y-pipe....Gary

^ ...Therefore it's a Y-back exhaust. Unless the OP is mistaken and it actually is a catback exhaust, in which case your stock y-pipe will be replaced.

Yes, it'll bolt up.
