Working on Lowered Cars.. Cant get under

Just wondering how you guys get under your cars to work on them. I cant even go to a shop without complaints about getting the car on the lift.

Im running stock height with Greddy side skirts.

Do you use race ramps , special jacks? Im tired of paying shops to do work i can do my self

You could spend major $$ on ramps or you can do what I did, the cost is minumal. You only need to raise your car 3" so I took 2 2X6 30" long then cut 2 2X6 18" long and glued/screwed the two togeather stacking them. The lips are angle cut for ease of entry. I cut up some old hose and stapled a few strips to the bottoms so they wouldn't slide when you rolled up on them. I've seen rollups sell from $75= + in catalogs the ones I made aren't pretty but my rollups cost was about $3= and an hours time. They work and I never leave home without them....Gary
