nah. practicing on my jdm display. it doesnt function properly without a bit of rewiring. im not using it anyway. just wanted to get some hands on experience soldering smds

changing polarizer and diffuser to try to get a darker background. doesnt look like true black will ever be possible with these low contrast lcds... boo!! compass is just stock polarizer and orange diffuser with white led. temp display is white led with modded polarizer and diffuser

different polarizer on the temp display, have since changed both to the matte finish polarizer. best i could do while still keeping it bright enough to read. when dimmed it looks almost black. lol ran out of leds. gotta wait for more to come in... bah

What would you charge to do that for someone else (assuming you were remotely interested)?

I figured. Whatever would make the display look a bit more clear/modern.

changing the polarizers with out changing the leds just makes the display darker.

Where did you buy the LEDs from.

Are all the leds the same? (Climate control, gauges, stereo, etc?)

Can you point the exact one you used?

idk wat u guys with open extended lug nuts are doing to prevent water and rust from forming on the exposed threads that arent being used by the stud but i recently stuffed mine with ear plugs like these . and no u cant see the plugs only if ur looking directly into the hole and i painted the plug end black. i also painted the inner section of the nuts that are extended (the non threaded part) black to prevent corrosion
