What did you do to the G today?

techically they didnt. i had to get the belts resewn because the g35 has a load limiter on the passenger side that the 350z one does not have. also the connector for the retractor sensor on the passenger side is not long enough to connect. also you have to drill a new hole for the bottom connecting screw for the retractor to fit. so i had my belt opened up, swapped the parts and had them sewn back. wish i knew about the load limiter on the passenger side before i paid 150$ to have the 350z retractors rebuilt

so i installed my black headliner but on the driver side im getting a little gap. is this gap normal? i dont have it on the passenger side because i screwed in the grab handle but since the driver side has a card holder theres nothing to secure the headliner to the roof. will this show when the rubber surround is installed?

lol no. it was such a headache. had it done. but they used 5/16th foam and the entire thing looked wayy too padded and fluffy. i ripped it all off and watched a few vids and was like "pffft i can do this myself" ripped it all off, bought new fabric, and sprayed the crap out of it with glue and waited till it got tacky and started putting the new thinner fabric on. it started creasing everywhere and i freaked out lol. ripped it all off, bought new fabric again and found some other guy to redo it... he does a horrible job... creases all over the place. (get what you pay for). ripped it all off AGAIN! bought more fabric AGAIN and went back to the original guy even though it was super expensive and he redid it. lol this headliner cost me like 800$ in total.... hahhaah least i know now. it looks good. im really happy with it. the flat knit black material looks super stock. and im running the 350z buckles so its black and matches and i know the paint wont flake off after use

yeah its all matched up, i think its just because the driver side has the card holder and not the grab bars that actually have screws...

Oil change went well. found out the car only had 1.5 qt's of oil in it from it leaking out due to poorly tightened oil filter (Fcking jiffy lube retards). I guess that means our oil light doesnt kick on till you are at 1 qt. Damn good engine for running so smooth with that little of oil. also changed out the cabin air filter. I'm surprised ANY air was able to get through what looks like the stock filter from 2004. sad to see how poorly this car was treated by the previous owner :/

Hey everyone, I have a few questions as far as what mods I should do to my g. It's a 2003 g35 coupe with a short ram air intake and a resonator delete. I want to increase horsepower but I'm still in high school and only have a part time job. I was thinking of buying a plenum spacer, taking out my cats, and Dyno tune. Any suggestions or advice on anything?
