Nice. I personally have impul sides. I think they match up well to pretty much any front/rear combo. I think the charge speed would look good with the OG as well

Cleaned the TB and got the infamous high-idle. Had a fun hour getting it to re-learn how to idle like a normal car lol.

Also I was shopping for transmission bushings for a more "connected" feeling, when I got Rick-Rolled by Z1 Motorsports...

Ahh the joys of working in your driveway in the snow... I need a shop :/
Anyway, I took my muffler off to polish the tips. Headlight restore kit did great on them. Finished it all up with some chrome polish. They look like new! (aside from scrapes on the bottom)

Got tired of my car dipping to ~500 rpm when coming off throttle, so I checked some bolts on the plenum and throttle body, and I could literally turn some of them with my hand. Not sure if the PO who installed the spacer and throttle body plate didn't tighten them down or what, but they were stupid loose. All fixed now and no more RPM dips.

I use a small dab of blue locktite on those bolts since they're not supposed to be torqued very tight.

Quick question for you guys, after full throttle I can smell a rotten egg smell. Most likely it's the cats but I have a small oil leak as well. Was thinking could it be the oil leak? Or is it the cats? More likely it's the cats lol. Any thoughts? I guess it's hfc time lol

Def cats. I didnt see any 02 sensors after the cats, for now you can just take em off and break the honeycomb up in them with a metal rod. You're car will smell like fireworks when you romp on it, but it'll suffice till you get decents cats for it. Leaking oil? How many miles? If ur burning oil too that'll clog the cats up quick.

I'm at 141k, It burns oil but I got it in a trade and a love it so I don't mind it. I'm assuming it's leaking from the oil cooler ring?

I wouldnt know. Havn't gotton to know the engine a whole bunch yet. I'm at 116K miles so I'm sure within the next 20K I'm going to get VERY familiar with it, specifically it's piston rings. Only thing I've really done is delete all the baffling on the intake. Saved me $50 from not buying a Z-tube.
