my fuel gauge only goes up to 3/4. ONE time it went up to full, and ONE time it read nothing lol. Thanks Nissan...

Just happened to me for the first time this weekend
Filled up and it stopped right before the full line
As I drove about 20 mins later it went all the way to full

Happened to my FX before. Removed pump and cleaned the sensor. Worked great.

To clarify, I was only able to put 9.5 gallons into an empty tank. Just over 1/2. Tried a different gas station in the afternoon and was able to put in another ~8 gallons to get a full tank of gas.

Was weird. It's not like I leave my car on and watch the gauge move as I'm filling up.

Yea i get what you mean. A lot of fuel nozzles seem to stop as if the tank is full with my car. I just pull the nozzle out and pour in fuel with the tip barely in (giggity)

I do leave my key on to watch the guage. Rarely do I have an issue any more. If it seems to get stuck at less than full, I either lift the car at the rear wheel well, or push down on the trunk to slosh the fuel. That usually takes care of it, although it doesn't move much on the Bilsteins and Eibachs.

I've never been inside the tank or even filler neck. I always fill the car up to. Gas here is so cheap at just over $2.00 for 93. Low fuel light to full is always under $40 and usually only 15-16 gallons.

But they wont fix my buddys airbag module in his 07, so he has to drive 6 hours away to get the infiniti dealership to do it.
