LOL. Today I let my 8yr old son slide his hand across the finish and he said, "Why does it feel like that?" because it was sooo damn smooth! Next up is the ISF--but that car is silver so it looks the same whether it is dirty or clean

Nice G, I see you're from Maryland. What part and where did you get your headers.

I'm in Frederick (Urbana) and got my headers probably 11-12 years ago. If you're thinking about getting them, don't, they do next to nothing on this car. Perhaps with a tune and hi flow cats/exhaust they might make some power, but the oem manifold has "shorty" headers on it already that leads to similar performance. In fact, compared to even my ISF the stock G headers are more like real headers where even the ISF has more of an exhaust manifold. Same with my old Acura CLS--both these cars had exhaust manifolds and both respond very well to headers, the G does not bc it's already pretty good off the shelf.

The bags in the back of the pic have new window gaskets in them--the old ones whistle a bit in the wind and let a bit of water in with high pressure spray. The mirror I got just for the black part which is oxidized on my drivers side (but not on the passenger side for some reason
The seatbelt was a major pain bc it is considered hazardous shipping and bc no one was home to sign for it from FedEx I had to drive an hour yesterday to pick it up from the FedEx depot! Thankfully when I opened it, it was the right one!

I'm on the fence about the bulbs--they were 200$ and the 8k bulbs I have in there are fine for how I drive this car, but, it seems like the "pattern" of the light coming off the 8ks is not as crisp/good as from my old Phillips 6ks--hard to explain, but it seems like the Phillips are just better bulbs, probably why they cost 200$ vs 60$ for the 8ks. Once the coilovers come in and I get the diffuser area and grill blacked out, that's it for me (at least for this year). I've probably spent damn near what the car is worth in parts this year...In addition to all of this, I've already done the clutch/flywheel, coilpacks, cam/crank sensors, floor mats, blacked out emblems, throttle body service, etc etc. The car feels damn near better then new, but now I'm hesitant to drive it. I find my ISF is becoming my daily driver and the G my garage queen. Again LOL!

Next year I'm going to try to find a shop to do the bushings for me and some aftermarket seats along with dyeing the carpet from light gray to charcoal gray. That, in my opinion, will complete my build.

Now, hopefully the engine doesn't decide to implode on me

Let us know your impression on the Z1 clutch. I've only ever had OEM and JWT. I'd be interested to know how it feels.

Find a young guy who recently has graduated tech school or a family friend to do your bushings. It is a LOT of work, but absolutely do it. Highly recommend checking that diff bushing too.

Ever wonder why companies like Philips and OSRAM don't make 8K bulbs? They have bad output - period. 6k or less for output blue looks, and 4300 Kelvin for best output.

Your G is lucky to have you lol.
