Aw that sucks Brad. At least you have a witness. Another plus is besides paint work the bumper skin is urethane so with a little heat it should pop back out. Best of luck.
Yeah, I just want to get the heat gun out but I need to wait to see what insurance says.
This might be a trigger for a full respray.

Unfortunately no. There was a line of cars behind us in the parking lot and my first instinct was to pull back in my spot (as opposed to leaving the car in the middle of the road - I should have though).
I finally ditched the stretch tires and went with a meaty set up. I got them all put on but one....
The **** working on my wheels/tires snapped off one of my valve stems... I was sooo pissed,
Kept my cool though. They're ordering a new one and taking care of it Monday. Still though,
Haven't drove my car in months. Smuhhhh, always somthing...
I paint corrected the G with Griots Boss system. Fast correcting cream (as needed), correcting cream, perfecting cream, and finally their sealant. Will post pics later, but it really brought out the metallic shine in the Diamond Graphite and the paint is smoooooth.....Absolutely no swirl marks either thanks to the multi step process and the correct use of pads and their super soft microfiber towels for the final buffing.
First time I've ever used an orbital and it was a breeze...of course, you get what you pay for and the Boss system was not cheap....
I'm thinking about matching my spoiler color to the color of the emblems. What do you think? I might do this at the same time I get the lower portion of the bumper painted black as a quasi-diffuser look.

Leave the spoiler as-is. The "diffuser" area will look good though.
I had mine like that for a while before being given a Nismo rep diffuser.
^^^Looks good. I had contemplated buying a diffuser but the portion that it covers seems to be perfectly separated from the rest of the bumper to just paint it and keep the extra plastic and holes off the bumper.
CEL came on after filling up last night. Picked up a scanner today, throwing a P0462 code. Drove it around a bit....runs fine, no issues with throttle response, idles fine. Reset the code, CEL stayed off.
Good info on the forum about it but I still have 3 months left on the extended warranty I bought so I'll leave this fix to the pros.
Thanks guys. Everything came from the Griots Boss kit. Never used Griots stuff before--always used Zaino, but figured I would give their sealant a try. I'll see how I feel once it gets wet for the first time and see how it beads up...if not up to par, I'll probably go back to Zaino, which has treated me well for the 150k miles before this pic.
