had to paint the fog lenses to get that true yellow color. the morimoto xb 3000ks are still wayy too green without painting the lens

the bezel is only just sitting for the pic so its cutting off the beam for the lowbeams and makes them look dimmer than real life. omg these cbis in the rx350s with clear lenses is so goddammn clear

here are the xb 3000k bulbs with out the painted lenses

and after lens painting, i love how it diffuses the cutoff and makes them more like fogs

Just put in a suede dash cover and also NISMO floor mats. Slowly but surely peicing my interior together.
I got to get my ash tray and radio trim wrapped in carbon fiber and been thinking about buying BigC's black door panels.
New steering wheel is coming soon also..!!

i didnt do the actual retro. steven with r1 (the bodykit vendor) built it. i saw recent posts that he was starting to do headlights again. id hit him up. all i did was take it apart and modify the actual projectors. after taking apart his work i can tell you he is a smart cookie. he did a great job on the actual retro and fitment aspect, really knows his stuff

Hate to bust your *****, but when you put the lens back on you lose a lot of the crispness . Especially the color flicker. I drove around without the lenses on and it was so pretty for five minutes lol.

That's gonna be a nice setup. The painting of the lens was a great idea I've never thought of!

wait, lol sorry i just realized how confusing my original post was. I tinted the fog projector lens amber. are you saying once the headlight lens cover goes on it wont be as clear? i actually think the low beams have too much of a colorband. if it is less color it wouldnt be a big deal.

the new lenses just came in, gunna separate the lenses tomorrow or monday and fit them onto my old headlights

i got the idea for the lens painting from the es300 projectors which come with painted lenses
