Hood flew up = messed up fenders

Well.. this year does not seem to be my year.

Long story short, my hood flew up and it smashed my windshield, bent hinges, and of course bent my fenders.

I already got a quote from the shop i went to before which gave me a great price for everything the 1st time.

I sat down and talked to the boss again this time around and he deducted a bunch of stuff off and reduced labor time and all.. but the total ended up being $1300.

This was to repair my driver side pillar since it cracked a piece off, straighten out the fender and repaint the area and clear both fenders and of course labor for it all.

Anyways here are the pictures to the damage, let me know if you guys think the price is pretty accurate according to the damage.

Thanks!

the thought of my hood flying up on me has always crossed my mind.. and it finally happened lol

I actually wasn't too scared and was pretty calm about it since there were no cars around me thankfully.

But do you guys think 1300 for fixing all this and painting it seems like a good/fair deal? I probably will get it done by them either way since i need my car back asap and i know they take care of my car atleast.

I still think its fair....did the hood stay on after it flipped up or did it fly off completely? Freeway (how fast were u going)?
