Does anyone have experience with grills on Ebay?

Was really debating on getting this, but was unsure about fitment.

Oh also.. I didn't want to make another thread so I'll just put this here. Do you guys think these would look bad? I've got Caribbean Blue sedan and I don't plan on blacking anything out. Also my headlights are pretty shot. The passenger side one is fogging on the inside and I can't do anything about it. The driver side one is okay I guess. Anyways I need to get them replaced soon because it looks like crap.

If you are going to pay that price on ebay just look for the Gialla style from a vendor on here. A lot of big companies sell their products on ebay so if you know who you are buying from you can get good quality. I purchased a few items from ConceptZ off of ebay before I ever knew abt their actual website. Check our marketplace before you pull the trigger.

I bought a knockoff on Ebay for my 2002 Protege 5 years ago. It arrived in one piece w/ the sh!tty mesh they come with. The mesh rusted within a month... Fitment was surprisingly not terrible...but no where near as snug as the OEM grille.

I am far more OCD with my G though - I probably wouldn't buy over Ebay.

No known vendors out there that make the Gialla style grill for sedan .. just curious because that was my top choice, but most likely going to end up just painting the grill black and keeping the emblem chrome

If our vendors like IONIC don't make a Gialla grille for the sedan I'd be careful buying one on eBay. If you do take a chance have a bodyshop paint it the color of your car for a clean look. Headlights....

grills tend to chip extra fast, clear coat wears off in no time; -1 point
Headlights looks too ricer, plus the custom "LED" strips tend to burn out fast. Fitment is not good, prepare to spend a while with your bumper off constantly readjusting for an at best "fair" fitment.

my 2 cents from experience

Yeah I was planning on doing that, but doesn't seem like fitment and quality is that great according to most people in here .. the headlights I wasn't sure to get them or not because was afraid that they would be too busy and look too ricey. Those are the cheapest Ebay projector ones for Sedan.

I'd also have to get an HID kit along with that too.

When you're talking about fitment you're talking about the grill right?

I don't have experience with that style of grill or that eBay seller, but I did buy an emblem-less black grill off eBay for my coupe, you can check it out in the pics of my car in my garage. I think I paid about $70 for it, fitment was perfect, good as oem, and build quality is almost as good as oem grill. Just thought I'd share my experience with eBay products....there are good deals out there.

I don't know about the grill but don't buy the headlights off eBay. I bought a set for my Jetta a few years ago and it was garbage. I know a member who just bought a set for his G and he said they look like toys. If you need new headlights spend the money and get some 06-07 headlights.

Damn.. hmmm. do you know who that member might be? Might have to try getting a used set somewhere.. at a junkyard or something maybe. 06-07 won't fit on first gen sedans.
