Looks like just more than a damaged whole side/quarter panel. You really won't know how much damage there is to the unibody frame until they cut off the sheet metal. I'd say 10K plus in repairs. Probably totaled. Air bags deploy?

I'm guessing, possibly, more than the car is worth.
What year and how many miles?

Ouch! First, glad you're OK. Second, that damage looks pretty bad... I'm thinking it's totaled.

A loaded 04 -78k miles (with Nav, 19's and spoiler) has a Trade-in value about $13.5k and Private party value is about $15.5k. Prices depend a bit where you live.
If it costs anywhere near the $13.5 to repair (which I think it will) then it's a wright-off.

I'd start swapping any parts you've modified back to stock as it's most likely going to be totaled. Aside from the obvious quarter panel damage, there is probably bent suspension parts under there. Also, how are the gaps along the trunk and door on the OTHER side of the car? Side impacts tend to twist the whole car and can be a real pain (ie expensive) to get bent back square.

Good luck with your insurance fight, focus on getting the most out of them, as surely they will low-ball you at first.
