G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Well alright then, thanks for the feedback fellas. I obviously haven't seen one in person but several magazines and TV programs have all raved about it. I thought John Davis with Motorweek was going to freaking n*t as he went through their review. I still want to drive one though just to say I did.
Another good option. A couple bolt ons and tune this car makes mid 400whp. A simple muffler delete nets stingers 20whp. Force induction cars make easy power compared to our NAs.

The awd system on our cars G35 is rear bais. Meaning it sends the most of the power to the rear and goes full 100 percent to the rear once you get rolling. It's an updated Skyline R34 GTR attesa system. I can go full rwd just by pulling the awd fuse just like the R34 GTR. Besides being able to do burnouts and drift, i notice better fuel economy on my X. Sti is 50/50 awd the wrx is slightly more rear bais. The rs is front bais most of the time unless you all ways in sport mode. So I prefer a rwd luxury car 1st, if i couldn't then a awd sport sedan would be my next option. Ppl here are talking about Kia but I would go for the Genesis G70. Still the same 3.3TT power plant and luxurious. Reason I mention Subaru is because it's affordable sport cars. You mention a ford. So you gave in my opinion something better and more affordable in my opinion. If you would of said BMW or Audi I would recommend a different car. We drive Infinitis. So ford isn't my taste. Different cars for different taste.

It's hard to deny how successful the Focus RS has been at track events though. Personally if you wanted cheap and easy power I recommend an EVO but there's definitely options.
The G was a real sweet spot between performance and comfort. Infiniti has gotten a lot softer since then. The current cars are all more luxury than performance, and manual transmissions aren't available. I think that for me, a manual is more important than luxury. I've also driven some lightly used M3's, and Audi RS3, trying to find something fun with back seats for kids. The Focus has such amazing driving dynamics, that I even thought the M3 wasn't as fun - sure, it had more power, but steering was numb, and the shifter was vague and sloppy. The interior was very old-school, and the infotainment system sucks, which is kind of lame on a car that's $90k new. I'm keeping whatever I buy completely stock, I already have a car that I mess with, but it only has 2 seats, and here in CA, adding power to an engine is very hard to do since you'll fail the inspection for modifying an engine in any way.
