New User, Window Issues

2003 G35 Coupe 6MT

What's up all, new user so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong section, it's 1am for me and I'm trying to get my problem out there asap so I can go to bed.

Passenger side window will not go up or down using power window controls on either door, despite the fact that the drivers side works fine using the switch. Passenger window motor does work, held down the unlock button on fob and the window rolled down just fine, now it won't go back up. What would the next thing to check be?

Thanks again, I'll get the forums figured out tomorrow afternoon so I'm not popping up on the wrong threads for future use & I appreciate any help I can get.

Take off the panel and unplug the harness to the window motor, use a digital multimeter and hold the window switch up/down while you check for voltage. Polarity will swap when you change up/down. This will eliminate the wiring and switches as the problem if you have proper voltage.

Does the window still drop 1/2" when you press the door closed switch while the door is open? If not you need to be VERY careful because you can't close the door with the window rolled up all the way or it can shatter the glass.

Lol. Same thing happened to me. Never used that button before and must have been pressed cleaning the panel or something. Took some time to figure it out
