05 Nissan pathfinder have been starting it and when I start it is a hard start and then the VDC and SLIp light come on

 

Start by making sure all the routine maintenance has been done on the drivetrain fluids, while you're under doing the fluid change look for broken stuff, grab a meter and start ringing out the sensors to verify they're working. OBD2 scan for any codes.

You'll probably find the issue, if not a dealer diagnostic fee isn't too bad.
