G35 Coupe - Front Driver Window Motor

Hello Everyone,
Little prior information
Vehicle : 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe.
Issue : Window has trouble going down and up, I have to push down the window with the door open and realign it for it to go back up.
Self Diagnosis: Bad front driver side window motor.

So with the information above and looking at a number of threads I have been looking into replacing the motor and watching videos on how to do it safety and properly. With the information above do you feel that I am able to put this motor in which I found on ebay. The idea is to save money and use a functional part.

Interested part to use= $40 after tax - free shipping

vs

The link below is to a known and working part that I found in the forums but slightly more expensive ($100 dollars), plus people that use the part say that is is rather loud.
Amazon Amazon

In conclusion, do you feel that the part from ebay is a product worth purchasing and would work for my 2005 g35 Coupe?

Hopefully this thread can help me and others to purchase a window motor since it seems to be a frequent issue with G35's.

I would never buy a used motor but I would buy a remanufactured OEM one.

I agree. The window motor isn't a quick 10 minute job. I'd say easy but time consuming. For how much work you are putting into it I would make sure it's a quality motor that's backed with good reviews and warranty. Usually I'd go oem but these motors are known to be a problem

Actually when I have to do my driver side eventually it will probably be a 15 minute job. Reprogramming the thing 3-4 times seems to be the hardest part

Looking at it further it doesn't seem bad. I was thinking of removing the glass and all that stuff that's not really necessary. I had an audio shop install dynamat when they were doing my sound system thinking it was going IN the door like it should. First time I had my panel off I saw they just layered it all over the whole metal assembly covering every bolt. I pray my window motor stays healthy

You should be praying they didn't use mastic adhesive to secure the dynamat, let me dig up some photos of the natural disaster the previous owner left for me...

It's quiet and there are NO RATTLES WHATSOEVER but there was a price to be paid... indeed...

Screw that. Car is for sale once my window motor fails lol. They didn't use dynamat, it was the same product by stinger. I thought dynamat just peels and sticks? But in the florida heat I figured that's what mine would end up like in your pics. I would just attempt to cut around each screw to expose them.

Well the mastic **** all over the door panel was for vibration dampening to stop rattle from the big stereo, they put dynamat over the top of it and I peeled it all off and scrubbed the door panel with acetone for hours to get that crap all off.
