I can get the starter off, but how do I get it out from under the car? Do I have to pull the front axle? 04 G35X sedan, thanks for any help!

 

Ok, two things. One, this video isn't great. Two, it's a coupe and not the sedan, but if you look closely to where he sticks his arm up to point at where the starter goes. He slips his arm up behind the rear subframe next to the bell housing. That's where he slipped the starter out. I don't know how similar the sedan is, but try looking into maneuvering it that way. I really doubt you have to pull the axle. Sorry if this is a lil late. Keep us posted!
