California's new exhaust law
so.. one of my friends just sent me this about a new law that's in California
Thanks to the kids doing burnsouts ,racing in public streets and "takeovers"
It's a $1,000 fine..
it's no longer a fix it ticket
And you get state reff...
Anyone else heard about this in California?
Therea always been a law about bot having cats,muffler deletes but it's never been such a huge deal till now i guess..

If you mean that in reference to bullet point # 1, that may not be sufficient. I don't believe that list means that all (3) points have to be applicable, but more a case of 1 or 2 or 3.

If you live in California you must check out all the new 2019 Traffic laws and what it will cost you if you get a violation! First violation for talking/holding your cell while driving is only $76 but modified exhaust is (are you sitting down) $1K! This was caused by individuals doing videos of them doing donuts or burn outs on public streets! Our new Liberal governor needs these extra $$ to run his Socialist government in Sacramento!

On a related note, the "G/Z/GT-R" Facebook group for people in my area have members that are (jokingly) considering selling their stock exhaust systems to folks in CA who have replaced theirs with likely now "illegal" systems and threw out their original, stock systems.
