So I was chilling in my car and it just died wouldn’t turn back on has a rough idle then just dies. I tried to put gas in it Checked fuses. We also sprayed started fluid in the plenum and it started right up any ideas? I’m thinking fuel pump or regulator. The car also isn’t in the best spot to take everything off and go through everything and I don’t have money for a tow atm . Anything will help

 

Usually with this platform it’s cam crank sensors when you don’t get a code at first.

if it doesn’t prime fuel pump at key to on (but not start) then it’s definitely fuel related.

 

yea so I did that already replaced both finally got a code reader to it and I’m currently getting p0113 and p0335

 

P0335 is Crankshaft Position "A" Circuit Malfunction and that will be your main issue. The P0113 is probably a dirty MAF sensor. But the crank sensor will need replacing. Check the plug to it, mind need that also since they like to bake crispy..
