On the topic of fuel economy, here's two pictures from a road trip I made today. The two pictures are from ~10 miles apart showing it wasn't a case of going downhill or coasting in order to get "high" (for a G35 !) gas mileage.

Keeping in mind that's a totally different engine in your car.

EPA ratings for the OP's car is 16/23 while mine is 17/23. As far as fuel economy goes, there's no real difference (1 mpg city ?).

Check your tire pressure (tpms might be malfunctioning).

Have the vehicle aligned (toe causes major friction and severely reduced mileage).

Pull and inspect the plugs, they tell you almost everything you need to know about the conditions in the combustion chamber.

Clean/replace your air filter, clean the MAF, inspect and clean the TB if necessary.

Inspect/clean the PCV valve.

OBD2 realtime scan the O2 sensors to verify they're cycling properly at idle and with throttle.

Remove/inspect the CATS with an inspection mirror or borescope for any melting on the media.

Smoke test exhaust system for leaks.

Run seafoam through the gas tank.

Perform an ECM and idle recalibration.

Sorry for the extremely late reply. My rear tpsm sensors are dead.... Would that effect my mpg?
